Hazelrigg was founded in 2022 and is headquartered in the UK with offices worldwide. We are a very experienced travel and tourism team who can offer everything from basic advice to full representation. We will consider representing clients from other sectors if there is a good “fit”.

Neerja Bhatia

Senior Director, Indian Subcontinent

  • Over 35 years of experience in the aviation industry, mostly in leadership roles with Emirates (1987 – 2001) and Etihad (2004 – 2023). Handled DGCA and other Indian Government work for both the carriers during my tenure.
  • Was the first woman General Manager in Etihad and was awarded the best General Manager – Commercial on Etihad network in 2008.
  • In 2018 promoted to Regional General Manager for Etihad overlooking the Commercial Operations for Indian Subcontinent (ISC).
  • Lobbying & liaising work with ministers of different State Governments and Ministry of Civil Aviation – India for getting additional traffic rights to operate additional flights.
  • Successfully, started 11 online stations for Etihad in India. From 3 flights a week, took the number of flights to 188 a week. This was the maximum flights by any International carrier operating ex – India. 
  • Worked closely with IATA & BSP ISC, and other industry partners.
